The Align Team

There are moments in life when we feel a quiet nudge, a sense that something within us needs attention, care, or understanding. If you’re feeling that now, I want you to know I’m so glad you’re here.

Olivia Meyers

Director | Therapeutic Services and Clinical Supervision

I’m Olivia! It’s great to have you here.

Being your therapist is a profound privilege. I’m here to walk alongside you as you navigate the complexities of your world, offering a style of therapy that’s not just skilled but also real, warm, and compassionate. Together, we’ll create a space where your story and experiences are deeply honoured and safely held.

My curiosity about people and how our experiences shape us has been a lifelong journey. As a proud Blak and Queer woman, my own life has offered so many experiences that have furthered my passion and curiosity for this work. Professionally, over the last decade as a therapist, I’ve been continually amazed by the power of the therapeutic relationship and its capacity to transform lives. This deep respect for the process also led me to academia and teaching —it’s a joy to be part of the learning journey for future therapists.

At the heart of my work is a deep belief in the importance of healthy, authentic, and safe relationships. Life’s challenges can sometimes disconnect us from ourselves, affecting every part of our lives. Through the therapeutic relationship, we can explore and heal, helping you reconnect with yourself—an essential foundation for all relationships.

With extensive clinical expertise in trauma, particularly attachment and childhood trauma, I bring a specialised lens to our work. But more than that, our work together is about connection, authenticity, and keeping you at the centre of the healing process.

PhD Candidate, B.A Couns, Dip. Couns, Cert (Aboriginal Narrative Practice), Cert (Clinical Supervision).
